I just noticed that too. On the website it didn't show the option. When I went on the app it said "Free Gift With Purchase". Cancelled my first order and redid it to include free bare tool gift. Slickdeal indeed!

Because the impact is already a great deal being on sale with the battery as a kit. Free tool makes it significantly better. Whether you keep and use the free tool or hack it, fantastic deal either way.

You see the difference with the prorated price. Adding the free tool will drop the price of the midtorque kit from $190 to around $110. The 2nd tool will be around $80.00. Because these are prorated, you are able to return one or the other, which is what we call "the hack". However, HD have been cracking down on people who do the hack lately by suspending people's online accounts. So a better option than returning one of the tools is to sell it locally on FB Marketplace or Offerup.

I destroyed my shopvac working on my diesel recently so I did the vacuum. Otherwise I would have done the grinder aswell.
