Fine for light weights, but the "racks" are a little narrow, making picking up and replacing dumbbells tricky if you don't want smashed fingers. I can only fit three fingers between them, and my hands aren't big. Decent quality and looks good, though.

A little Gorilla glue can fix that.

My weight set came with this A-frame style, didn't like because of pinched fingers and lack of place to put any additional weights. Replaced with this for $30 https://www.walmart.com/ip/seort/374060301

*Note, the replacement hasn't arrived yet but unless it is wildly defective, I cannot imagine it will not be a huge improvement.

Bought mine two years ago and holding up well. The only complaint I have is the rubber pieces don't stay put

Agree if you have the space a rack is better, I've had both and the a frame one always get my finger, too tight for big weights, and the plastic comes off all the time, especially when you squeeze large dumbbells in. A rack is better, IF you have the space. There's been a couple posted recently. No space? This is your only option.

I agree that the issue with these style racks is pinched fingers. Not something I would want to live with personally.

The metal busted through the rubber on mine. The whole thing is poor quality to be honest. But it's a space saver.

My dog chewed mine off, have any hacks for that? The rest of the rack is great.

Poor quality is relative, given the price is only $26. For that price, I'd say the quality is pretty good, actually. If something is closer to $100, I'd expect better materials and construction.

Just assembled this one you recommended today and I liked it a lot more than the A frame - (returning that now) thanks for this alternative!

Of course and glad it worked out.

FWIW, I didn't even take the one I recommended out of the box and am sticking with A-frame until I find something better. My wife saw how long this unit was and forbid me from assembling it. I honestly had no idea it would be so long either. I assumed roughly 24" based on the photo but the box is about 40" long, now looking closer at the specs the final stand appears to be 36" wide. Something I probably should have looked at before ordering Wink
