This has been a popular post. However, around here HDs yesterday clearanced the set down to $134.10 from $149 if you can find it in stock in store. I have used the HD inventory checker to find stores that have it in stock and clearanced, but when going to store none good be found so it is very unreliable. So YMMV..

This plus an m12 stubby or equivalent, possibly a cordless battery ratchet, and you've got what you need to do most all automotive jobs. Love them.

I've heard these things have plenty of power (almost too much in some cases for home diyer). Wonder if they are clearancing this for a potential Gen 2 ?

After much calling around and hours on hold on the phone with HD , found one yesterday and picked it home today. The hardware sales person was kind enough to hunt around and find it and let me buy it over the phone so he could set it aside in customer service. Walked up to the counter today and they just handed it to me. Took 2 minutes.

Yup got this on a holiday deal which included deep socket set. Got my brakes done on 2 suvs and all struts replaced on one of them. Absolutely worth it. Especially if you do automotive DIY. I was already in the ryobi system for the simpler at home drill and impact gun but that impact was to weak, this one made everything so much easier! Def recommend

This will remove truck, tractor, and some big rig lug nuts over 300 ft lbs.
The regular HP brushless 1/2" impact wrench model # 262 can do any passenger truck lug nuts, even those torqued to 180 ft lbs or more.
The 3/8" HP brushless impact wrench can easily remove my 120 ft lb truck lug nuts, and can remove 150 ft lb lug nuts too.
Even the 1/4" HP brushless impact driver can even remove my Infiniti's 80 ft lb lug nuts in 4-10 seconds each lol!
You don't need a super powerful impact wrench for normal car or truck lug nuts.
