I have found Polysporin provides superior healing compared to Neosporin.

Polysporin is the same with one less antibiotic generally used instead for more sensitive skin folks. So really, it works less unless you get an allergic reaction from neosporin.

Apparently, according to real dermatologists, applying this to a small wound or cut can be more detrimental than helpful. Something about a good wash with soap, followed by application of vaseline on a small wound is healthier. Also, they say one of the ingredients in an antibacterial gel can cause an allergic reaction on the skin. Which is exactly the effect it has on my skin. Anyways, feel free to look this up yourself - I'm no doctor but I do heed some of their advice.
