Be careful the connector falls off easily.

It's just an "up to" 240W. There are no known devices which can pull 240W - in fact as I understand it, no one's even made the integrated circuit called a "USB PD controller" chip. Someone would have to invent that before someone else can invent a device that would use 240W.

However, 240W is part of the USB standard, so if anyone ever does make such a device, you'll be ready! More importantly, it will work great at <240W.

If you have a pen style solderer, they use a lot of watts through usb c. Mine is 130w and this would have a decent overhead.

Looks like the price has been $9.99 for the most part for 3 months? So they just jacked up the price then permanently discounting this thing?

Just a heads-up that one of the common issues being found with these cables are limited capacity when the adapters are used. This cable is only good for 240w if the native USB C to USB C is being used. The 3rd picture down shows the other combinations being 30w max for USB C to lightning, 12w max USB A to lightning, and 3a max USB A to USB C...

I have 3 of these 10FT ones and they're fantastic. Thick, yes, and they take up way too much space on most adapters with multiple ports, but these don't twist and are easy to bundle into coils.

I personally recommend then if you're going to use a wall adapter with a single port.
