The laces suck on these, almost impossible to get the shoe to stay snug for any real exercise or training... a great walking shoe, but not for running

You're unable to swap laces with a cotton set that will hold the knot and not stretch?

Why spend $100 on shoes with bad laces?

I'm curious too. My friend wears the OnCloud CloudRunner shoes for her 12-hour shifts, so I'm wondering how similar this model is to that. She swears by those.

I own the Cloudmonsters (style), 1st generation. I do office work, and a lot of walking and standing. I am very pleased with this brand and the style I picked. A very comfortable pair and worth it. I have washed my pair of shoes twice, removed the shoe strings, and slip insoles - they appear new every time. I would recommend for nurses. They take a bit to get use to because they are a very soft insole and the outter bottom design. You will be pleased.

Thanks for the recommendation. I was looking at the cloudmonster yesterday as well.It is actually for my wife, so I will share your experience with her and see if she would like to try it out.

I have the cloud monsters 2, the cloudtilt, and cloud stratus. My opinion:
The Stratus are the best all-around, good for running, stable enough for weight lifting, nicely styled for daily walkabouts, but a bit too sporty looking for office
The Monsters are a bit chunky, stack too cushiony and drop a bit high for gym sesh, but still good for running.
The Tilts are life style shoes, super comfortable for daily walkabout, took them on vacation where i walked 18000 steps daily for almost a week and held up well
