If you use your ipad as a laptop or place it on the desk, this is great. However, if like myself you want to sit anywhere and use the iPad, you cant flip this cover behind the iPad. While I really like this cover, it has really limited my ability to use the iPad, and now I'm unfortunately stuck with it. Consider the portfolio cover from Apple instead, with the keyboard integrated. nearly as good, quite a bit more utility, I think.

For Apple? They can charge $20 for a tiny piece of (polishing) cloth and be sold out for months, why would they sell a nice aluminum keyboard that fits the iPad pro perfectly for such a low price?

Pretty good price, I bought last week an open box for the 13" pro (and same way I got a pro pencil).

If you have AppleCare on the iPad, you can call Apple support and they will add the accessories on the same plan for free. That's what I did.

Hahah bro is under the apple spell. I got mine for 50$ off Temu. Might not have the logo but my brother has the apple one and it's no different. Besides that my keyboard lights can be any color. Your getting china products no mater what. SO CUT THE MIDDLE MAN!

I practically never take this off mine. I use it when laying in bed, when I have nothing to do while working (driving) or when I use Sidecar with my MacBook pro on the couch so I just sit this next to it on the arm. The metal keys are a nice upgrade from the previous generation.
The only real negatives is the price, weight and the hinge. The metal hinge can be an issue if you're not careful, it can dig into your skin if you use it at an inconvenient angle and when I had the 13 inch (I returned it and got a 11 inch) the metal scratched something. That was more of an issue with the 13 than the 11 though.

I also have the portfolio case, but I rarely use it. The magic keyboard is just so convenient to use for reading and viewing things as you don't have to worry about holding it up. It's just lays flat.
