For those that do not know. The essentials line is pretty bad. I mean for $40, you should not expect cole haan quality but just wanted to point out.

I have had the hardest time finding a good looking oxford like these with the zero grand quality. I even went to a store and they basically laughed and said they only have the essentials line like that. Crazy to me that the market is all the sneaker look now.

Every time you see name brand at Costco it's always the Costco "version" of that name brand.

Thanks for this. I have a couple pairs of Cole Haan's that I love, but I need a new pair of black shoes. I only wear black shoes 2 or 3 times per year, so these should be good for that.
