For the everyday viewer the big difference is sheer brightness. This tv is *MUCH* brighter which makes it strongly preferred for HDR content or in bright rooms. The 6k is ~900 nits at peak brightness and this is ~3000.

I went from a 77" OLED to the QM8K 98". I have 0 regrets. Bigger size >>>> slightly better contrast. Heck, most people assume this is an OLED as well since the display is that good.

Indeed. I returned the flagship 83 inch LG G4 OLED for the 98 QM8K, and no regrets.

Holds its own in black levels and contrast/blooming, while destroying the G4 in HDR brightness, specular highlights, and overall "WOW" factor that only 98 inches can provide. No reason to pay the OLED premium any longer.

This or the QM6K Pro from Costco @ $1699....decisions, decisions.
Got this in the early October deal for $1799 using the Amazon Chase card where they give 10% back (cash back came fast & used it as a statement credit)

This is the best TV I've owned and well worth the hassle to get it in my basement (had to remove upper side of a split staircase).

The picture is great & with the enormous number of dimming zones it is as close to OLED that you can get.

Don't know about the Hisense but in my research this TV blew away all others at this price point.

My advice, get a chase card and pounce before the deal is gone (I missed the first deal in the summer by an hour & had to wait till October)

The QM6K Pro was $1499 at my Costco on Monday, and will probably be on sale again before the Superbowl. Tough decision!
The 7k for $1,799 w/Amazon Chase card is a no brainer. Look at specs, research reviews. The 6k is NO WHERE near the picture quality of the 7k. With the dimming zones it's almost OLED quality.

What about if you live in building with small elevator in city? Would be that issue to delivery to get it up on 6 floor? I'm wondering if anyone place order and had issue with delivering that thing upstairs
I had to have this TV in my basement home theater. I have a split staircase and this a quarter inch too big.

Solution: pull up the carpet & stairs & lower the TV to the basement through the removed stairwell.

Happy camper now!

Your comparison makes zero sense. Quality is fine as long as you go in understanding this isn't a tv you're buying because it has the best specs. You're buying it because it has good specs, and is massive.

Great tv. I have it and Fitbit from Best Buy. Just be aware, on large tvs Best Buy's geek squad doesn't usually do the install; it's 3rd party folks, just like Lowe's or Home Depot. Terrible service and took over a month to get delivered. Finally begged store to let actual geek squad deliver and set it up. The geek squad do fine but 3rd party sucks ass.

Tv is fantastic. We have it in the basement and on foundation it was just too bright it hurt my eyes, fantastic tv do the money

It'll interesting when the 120in TV comes out in few years. This is when a walk out basement proves it worth.
