Knipex twin grips are much better than these in my experience. I had both side by side the vampliers couldn't get the screw out. The knipex worked.

+1 for Knipex TwinGrip if you've got the money to spend, but FWIW there's a cheaper version of the Vampliers from the same source with different branding (both made in Japan): https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002L6HJAA

From the review videos that I saw, the Vampliers have a shorter biting distance vs. the knipex so they are better for getting a tight grip on smaller stripped out screws (especially the Brute Vampliers). However long term reviews indicate Vampliers teeth get worn down faster and their grips on the handles come loose over time.

I came to the comments to ask the question. I have the Knipex and the highest opinion of them.

I used a dremel and did this to an old pliers. Works the same.

Genuinely curious why you'd use this over extractor bits?

the listing claims this is a 3 pack, if so, that is the deal (possible listing error)

If this works, it is much easier and faster than using other kinds of extractors. Always try this first before moving onto other more complicated measures.

I saw that too. Pretty sure it's just 1 and the '3 pack' image is a mistake.
I ordered back in December @ $16.70 from the same listing and it was just one.

Depends on needs or situation. Smaller screws Engineers works better. Nuts/bolts, twingrip. The more narrow tip of Engineers they dig in better. Twingrip way betterr teeth, material, hardness. I wished knipex made this in long noise or 150mm slim cobra.

Maybe so, but attacking a screw with it's head missing "head-on" would be the easiest way to spin the screw out and you can see how the smaller bite gap of the Vampliers is more beneficial vs. the Knipex. Personally I could see smaller less durable screws being more of a reason to need a screw extractor vs. larger beefier ones.
