I chatted to them on this. This won't work. You are locked on Dark Star.

"However, with the multi-network add-on, you can add a second line with a separate number to your primary line that shares your unlimited data plan, but that is on a different network (for example, if your primary line is on Light Speed, you could add a second line on Warp). This addon will not allow your primary line on WINTER149 to change networks."

Dark Star is ATT network, this states MUST remain active on Dark Star.

I have no clue how ATT hasn't closed down because everywhere I've been their network is shit.

private company, owned by a Pakastani, most of their support team works from Pakastan. Though it's a company registered in New York.

I don't know all the workings behind the scenes. I've been with them (5 lines) for a bit over 4 years with no issues (Warp and Lightspeed only)

They are REALLY pushing Darkstar, so gotta be getting some sweet deal from ATT or planning to get a ton of subscribers and hoping ATT buys them out???

At the expense of having fewer new subscribers? There might be higher churn, but who's say that the net after churn still results in higher net retention due to higher initial subscriptions? Besides, with annual prepayment, it's not like anyone is going to be anxious moving anytime soon .. plus people are going to look at other options anyway after a year is up.
I would guess that US Mobile's marketing and financial analysts are "who to say": I'm not privy to the info to analyze, and I'm guessing you aren't either. There does seem to be a huge difference in behavioral patterns around switching between active Slickdeals readers, and average cellphone subscribers, so we may not be the best judge of how effective additional friction to leaving a provider is.

I just switched to their annual unlimited premium Dark Star plan for $195 that ended Jan 4th. Do they offer adjustments if under 30 days? Or anything at all?
I believe they have cancellation policy for 30 days

Just purchased the unlimited starter. I'm currently on spectrum, can I activate their free 30 day line and then activate the yearly service I purchased?

This was extended to 2/2. I'd previously ordered the $195 promotion and hadn't activated yet. Through chat they let me cancel that one and order again.

Port-in is the ONLY way to get this deal so you're good to go.

I'm sure they have their reasons but you don't need to be 'in the know' to know they're missing out on a big opportunity to boost subscribers by eliminating port-in requirements, especially in the MVNO market, regardless of the 'quality' of subscriber they're apparently after.

Is this only for port in numbers, not for new numbers? Will they check during the SIM/eSIM activation for port in info or we can go with a new number?

I have a P1 with US Mobile and online profile. Can I add P2's phone line to the same profile so it can be managed from one profile? while taking advantage of this promotion? doesnt it say new line only?
