Read amazing reviews. Snapped up a pair last week. One bud stopped working after twenty minutes. Charges but will not connect. Tried factory reset, tried deleting from phone and adding back.
Products shouldn't fail after twenty minutes. Maybe I got their one in a hundred defective. But my sample of one out of one is discouraging.

Counterpoint: I have an earlier version of these and they're my favorite buds for anything besides working out. I use them on business calls all the time with no complaints. You likely got unlucky.

Be aware that Nothing is on record saying they do not honor their year warranty for brand new Amazon purchases. They don't mention this anywhere until it's too late of course. You can google about it or contact their customer service who will tell you the same.
These are very good earbuds with apparently a relatively poor reliability track record. I returned them before the 30 days after reading about their piss poor warranty situation.

Do you have a link to them being on record for saying that by any chance? I was about to buy these until I saw your comment.

Just one bud's not working? Oh come on, that's Nothing really

They're vocal about only honoring their warranty through authorized sellers. Amazon is linked on their site, but following the link looks like their Amazon store has been taken down: https://us.nothing.tech/pages/store-locator
Won't honor their warranty when they crapped out after a week (wouldn't turn on, charge or reset). Check out the Soundcore line of earbuds like the Life A3i, waterproof, ANC and good warranty.

I don't have a link for them saying it, but I contacted them directly and they told me flat out. Feel free to do the same.
I gave them feedback saying how ridiculous that is, especially since nobody would know that this is the policy until it was too late and they were stuck with faulty earbuds. They said they would take that feedback under advisement. Basically 'pound sand' in a polite way.
This is what serial numbers are for, tracing purchases for warranty purposes, if that's what they're so worried about. But they're just not confident in the longevity of their own products, which speaks volumes.

I wish I could trust them, but I can't, based on the number of negative experiences I've read about.
It's a shame, because I wanted them to do well.
