Ordered a few bottles on a previous deal. After using part of one bottle, we decided to give the rest away and stuck with Franks. My family just didn't like the flavor.

Agreed. Very mediocre to bad. All the common vinegary hot sauces are way better.

I have a different take, I think it's OK as a Louisiana style sauce. Also, it's not new at all, Trappey's it's a really old brand started by a former employee of McIlhenny (Tabasco). Today it's owned by food conglomerate B&G foods. If you're not a fan of Louisiana hot sauce you won't like it, but it will generally go with anything you use Frank's on.

I've always considered it a budget hot sauce since it was always cheaper than Frank's, so I don't know where they're getting $4.99 as a retail price. I haven't seen it locally in Northwestern PA for some years, but I wouldn't pay more than $1.50 a bottle. I used to buy it at Walmart for around $1 a bottle. Worth trying at $1.50, but It's dead now anyway.

This is what they put out on the table at Primanti's. It's super good imo. In for a bottle.
