Not sure why anyone would buy this as it disables the excellent Arrow lake GPU, requires expensive motherboards and ram and is SLOW. Would rather get a low end Alder/Rocket lake with a DDR4 motherboard or even AM4 is better at this point.

Because its extremely cheap and for its price its still good performance.
Also you say expensive motherboards when they start at $80... Or you can get B860 for $110, neither are even sales prices. Motherboards arent expensive at all.
Looking at PCpartpicker, the next best CPU performance wise is $40 more and results in 3-5% better performance...
As for RAM, thats a whole different conversation, RAM prices are high for everything right now, and going back to DDR4 CPUs means going to far worse efficiency, so its a tradeoff, and youll be stuck with worthless DDR4 for future builds.

7500F is faster than this in gaming. 14600K is 17% faster, 9600x is almost 25% faster. If you're going to go with a DDR5 system, the 9600X kills this for close to the same price. This also has a dead end socket unlike AM5.
