I remember when in like 2002, my family went to a Sam's Club and bought a 32-inch CRT TV. That thing was incredibly heavy and I think it was like $800. They also sucked a lot power. We kept using it until probably 2013-2014 before upgrading to modern 1080p Samsung.

I have Samsung, LG and TCL TV's, I don't connect any of them to the internet, just use it to watch Antenna TV and I have a separate Roku for them.
