Ordered. Seems like a great price for anyone in the system even if you only use them a couple of times

They're great tools. I'm remodelling my basement with both saws currently. The circular saw is great with 2x4 and 1x8's, and the jig saw has different settings depending on the blade type you're using. These along with the brad nailer and hammer drill are my favorite Ryobi tools.

Is 5 1/2" good enough for cutting 2x4?

Yes, 5 1/2-inch circular saw has a maximum cutting depth of about 1 3/4 inches when set at a 90-degree angle. 2x4 is 1 1/2 inches thick, the blade is more than deep enough to slice through it in a single go.

Cuts through them fine. Using it with a 4ah One+ battery and I've cut 14 boards. Didn't even make a dent in the battery charge.

Edit: Wanted to clarify- I'm using it to cut 2x4 PRESSURE TREATED wood. The 5 1/2" blade isn't quite large enough for a regular 2x4

Home Depot does have a 7 1/4" Ryobi with a free 2ah battery for $139 right now: https://www.homedepot.com/p/RYOBI.../339528857
