I've also had such things happen when it seemed like the SSD was seated in the enclosure, but actually wasn't getting a good connection.
For those looking into this, you can grab the latest firmware and flash it

Note: Make sure to select firmware version 1.34.39 in the software to ensure it updates to the latest version.

Looking inside the /configure directory here: https://github.com/bensuperpc/rtl.../configure, I see two Sabrent-related .cfg files:
1. https://github.com/bensuperpc/rtl...C-SNVE.cfg <-- this one seems to have a typo: "Sabrant" instead of "Sabrent," but it does show RTL9210B.
2. https://github.com/bensuperpc/rtl...abrent.cf
Which one did you use?
I actually kept everything generic -
Configure: RTL9210.cfg
Firmware Bin: RTL9210B_v1.34.39.032625.bin
Firmware GD: RTL9210B_gd_v4.30.23.071922.bin
No issues and you can switch configuration files or customize if you want different features enabled.
