I bought a similar light through AE a month ago and tested its battery by keeping it on next to me. It stayed lit even after 3 hours, and I gave up and concluded it was good enough. I was so convinced that it wouldn't last, so it was nice to be proven wrong. But, do keep in mind that the actual brightness is lower than those advertisement pictures.

it actually seems like an upgrade from some of the previous ones that i've bought. i have one up in our mudroom so you can walk in and out of the garage without having to flip on a light for 5 seconds. i end up charging it every 3 weeks and i think it has a 700 mah battery.

I guess I got spoiled when I got the EZValos this summer. 14.5" cool white/4000 mAh, later the warm white came out with 3500mAh. I also got their black puck lights with 5000 mAh battery. But I prefer the 14.5 over the pucks. So those are my points of reference. I like the 14.5" because the also have a remote control. Yeah, for light use you're fine.
