$50 for this isn't cheap. The Husky 1000 lumen light is available for $7 and includes battery and BT speaker. I have a couple and they a SUPER bright.

I love Milwaukee and have an excessive amount of it for a DIYer, but this light ain't great at $50. You'd be much better off with getting the m12 rover flood light that is smaller, swivels, and can ever charge your phone in a pinch.

Laughing at the downvoters. $50 isn't cheap, especially given the recent ryobi clearance ones posted.
I don't see down votes on the desktop browser version of SD so even if I cared I don't get the opportunity to. Big Grin

I agree with you. I have a lot of M12 tools, including two of these lights.

Positioning this light isn't very easy. It has a magnetic base which may be useful if you are doing commercial/metal stud work, but otherwise not handy unless maybe you have an HVAC trunk to stick it to. Otherwise it just collects rusty metal bits you have to scrape off.

It is bright, and will last a long time on the lowest of the three brightness settings (which is still pretty bright).

However, the lack of ease of positioning the light throw is really a deal breaker for me.

My ecosystems are M12 and DeWalt 20v, so while other systems may have cheaper lights that work well, I am not looking to add different batteries and chargers.

The M12 Rover would be a better choice IMHO.

While this isn't cheap.. this isn't a cheap light. Milwaukee's lights are some of the best available without getting into professional-grade specialized lighting - they're a nice neutral white color, with even output and high CRI.

As far as form factor goes though, there are better options like the 2368-20 3-panel light (currently $123 - https://slickdeals.net/f/19203670-milwaukee-2368-20-18v-m18-rover-dual-power-triple-panel-flood-area-light-122-99 ), or the 2359-20 which has 27W USB-C PD output too, which is handy.

I know this is an old deal, but worth commenting for future deals...If you just want light, you're right. This would be a pass given all the other options. If, however, you need accurate color representation (5000k), you won't get it from the others. This is not a light aimed at the average DIYer. That's Ryobi, Kobalt, Craftsman, etc. Milwaukee is expensive bc it's aimed at folks who make a living off this stuff. There are other drawbacks to this light mentioned above, but the high price is partly related to the very specific needs "TrueView" fills
