It says signature might be required at delivery, can anyone confirm with this or previous T-Mobile phones that were shipped?
Every phone I ever got from tmo via shipping required a signature.

So I can trade in the new A17 I just got? Do they let you upgrade immediately after upgrading that same line?
No... you don't own that A17 phone yet until you pay it off and pre-payment is no longer an option with TMO if you wish to continue receiving credits.
https://tmo.report/2024/06/t-mobi...l-credits/

However, on the same line that you're currently using with the A17 you could simply place a new order for a new device.

Good luck!

Typically I have had signature required. However, for all of the most recent shipments UPS simply left them at my door(!).

Good luck!

For phones that won't turn on, the IMEI is often printed (in microscopic print) on the SIM tray. That will save your ass in those cases. If the phone is REALLY old the back might come off and you can check that way, but phones with a removable back haven't been a mainstream thing in a great number of years.
I mean... yeah I have been holding onto this e-waste for a VERY long time. LMAO

But repped for the IMEI tray tip.

Good luck!

Alright guys, I just got home from Costco after getting the lady to help me 3 free Pixel 10 phones on my Simple Choice plan. The reason some kiosk reps might tell you they don't see the promo on your account is because it's a targeted promo. Tell them to enter in promo code R499 and it will pop up, if your account is eligible. I'm not sure why some people are being denied the free activation charge ($45) and/or $100 Costco gift card.I went through this ordering process twice when they ran it last September, so I kinda knew what to ask to get things rolling. Prior to going to Costco tonight, I called T-Mobile corporate to confirm that my Simple Choice plan would not be changed by taking this promo. The questions I asked at the beginning of the process and at the end just to make sure things go smoothly:
  1. Is the $45 activation fee waived? yes
  2. Will I get a $100 costco gift card for EACH of the 3 phone upgrades? yes
  3. The phones are completely free after 24 months of credits. yes
  4. Will this change my Simple Choice plan? No
Tax came out to a whopping $245 here in SoCal. Tipped the lady $20 for making it fast and was on my way out in about 20 minutes.
Did you need the imei of the trade in phones at the kiosk?

Is it worth paying $200 extra for the Pro? I am an iPhone user and I use android phones ONLY to diagnose cars using the bluetooth OBD scanner. So far I have been using Moto Edge 2022 and works fine.

Yeah, you have to bring the phones with you. I brought 3 old phones that turned on to the IMEI screen. From the past thread if i recall, make sure you present them the imei/phone that you intend to trade in. Don't do a switch up at the end with another phone when you actually mail/trade it in (I highly recommend trading it in at t-mobile store. Takes longer with the waiting in line, but you can be sure they got it and accepted it.) I think if you try a switch up with a different imei/phone, it complicates things. That's not to mention the possibility that the rep enters the wrong imei into her tablet.

i don't think it's worth $200 extra. I'm cheap though. I don't even think the Pixel 10, or any phone is worth $200, lol. If all you're doing is obd scanning, then definitely don't pay extra for the pro. You can obd scan off a potato! The camera on the PIxels are great though, especially in low light settings!

I just spent $15 on Amazon for replacement sim tray and power button for my old s8+ trade in. Screen is fine but glass backing has good amount of cracks because I failed to keep a case on it

My old Samsung s8+ phone has the sticker on back with barcode and imie number but it's partially peeling off and not fully visible a few numbers. I whenever I trade it in I plan to just write the imie on piece of paper included just to be safe

You do not need the trade in phone in hand. They will mail you the phone + the return box to do the trade in. You can also go to a tmobile store yourself and trade in in person.
so u say get phone at costco

No. I ordered at a tmobile kiosk in Costco. I will bring the trade-in phones to a corporate standalone T-mobile store.
