One of the absolute best shows I've ever watched. Premise is not exactly new and the concept was from an old commercial on NBC like a decade or more ago but it's such an optimistic yet endearingly real show. I watch it all the way through at least twice a year.

Season 1 is perfection - it is feel-good and unique. Then season 2 happened and it went downhill from there.

Man, when I bought this last year on Blu Ray I had given up hope of a 4k uhd release.

It's more expensive than I'm willing to pay for the series a second time, but even the old Blu ray had nice picture and good audio quality.

I'd only consider rebuying at this price if it included digital copies.

Great show, but a new season was just announced. No idea how it will connect to the current seasons, but just FYI for completionists.

I think that's why they gave this collection the title of, "The Richmond Way". It feels intentional to put that wording so prominently in the title and on the cover as a way of showing that this collection covers the storyline of his coaching A.F.C. Richmond as opposed to whatever new ground this upcoming season may tread back in Kansas/America

Well said. I honestly always felt like Jason Sudeikis was one of those actors who just kind of existed without standing out and might get a call to cover for a different actor last second on some random, raunchy comedy every couple of years but that was going to be his legacy. Seeing him in this role was phenomenal. Not just because of how good the show is but because of what Sudeikis bright to the role of Ted Lasso. Absolutely brilliant series. I just hope they can keep the magic with this new season

New season is still at Richmond but with Ted coaching a second div women's team. There was a small announcement a few weeks ago with the new season expected this summer.

1st season was good but that should have been the end of the series. Second season was trash. But can't be mad at a series based on a character that originated from an NBC commercial

My guess would be the next 4k release (with the upcoming season) has the best chance of a digital copy, but even then it's very much unlikely to happen since I assume that apple TV retains the "streaming" (digital) rights for a certain number of years after "airing" like with Netflix shows 🤷

Yeah, I doubt we'll see anything digital because it's an apple show.

Kind of like how Apple has digital control of some of the Daniel Craig James Bond movies

Made by the same people that gave us Scrubs too, and they know how to write great characters and give them satisfying character arcs. Also, the actor for Roy Kent was a write for the show, who then went on to work with the same team on Shrinking that I've heard is really good too.

Season 2 indeed wasn't great, but season 3 was fantastic again. Just as good as season 1.
