Ok your account number is just your GV phone number and your pin is your "call to listen" pin that you set up in the settings of GV. You first have to pay $3 to unlock the GV number.

Porting and failed attempts to order the phone. FYI if you go through the last step and Metro reserved the number you are porting in. But you failed, their payment screen and your order did not go through. Be advised that that number(s) that you attempted to port (no atter how many different phone numbers) are locked in Metro Port Reservation. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO USE THAT NUMBER to process new order using that same # until you call Metro and ask to be transferred over to the porting department and ask them to delete the port. You will also not be able to port it anywhere else until they delete the port reservation. So, all you folks that tried to process a zillion orders after your initial order failed it will never work (even if you fix why your payment didn't go through) until YOU CALL METRO to fix your PORT. With all that said the port dept will want to verify you and the easiest way is for them to send you a SMS to your metro phone so your you don't have a Metro phone working well welcome to the struggle bus have a seat and relax your gong to be on the phone with Metro for some time. Please know this address multiple attempts at porting the same phone number not all the other reasons orders fail on the payment screen. All I can say on that one is , Don't use VPN, don't use discover, don't use a virtual number, wait 48 not 24 hours for your last order attempt to clear out of their system and if you are a religious person…pray

The short version, you must call Metro to make sure any/all the number(s) you are porting over that previously succeed Port Reservation but failed Payment are not locked now to metro reservation once locked to metro they will not work with a new order or another wireless company. This deal is killing me softly, now I remember why I avoided Metro for so long

For those of you having the fraud screen, do this -

Use a VPN
Different credit card #
Add a fake apartment # to your address (if you live in a house)

This has worked for me in the past.

Helium uses T-mobile network. Any phone number on T-mobile network is not eligible for Metro port-in promo.

Some people called and were able to get the rep to order for them, but don't get your hope up.

I'd like to know this for sure, too.

I thought you could trade it in immediately, you don't need to wait the 30 days even? Just make sure you don't have it set to autopay so that you can let the metro account cancel on its own, as you may not be able to get back into your account if you send this off before 30 days (if they text you a code to login or anything). Is that right?
Most places (carriers, Apple, Best Buy will accept a locked phone for trade-in. If you want to sell/trade the i13 but keep your Metro line active (to order more phoness/tablets/watches) then use the Switch Device function in the account to transfer its service to another phone. I transferred service from my two i13's to two inactive Metro S25FE using their eSIMs. If you don't have another Metro phone , you'll need an unlocked phone with eSIM or a Metro BYOP SIM.

Just call and give them port in # and pin # and credit card #. It takes about 20-30 minutes. After received the phone and after set up, the phone is ready to use. And order another one for $30.

Thank you! If I can get this phone and the deal I'm looking for at Google store, I'd be trading it to google, probably before my 30 days was up. I do have an old unlocked moto stylus that specs say has an esim (I haven't used esim before and am pretty clueless on it, but I'll look into it). Maybe I could transfer the metro number to that. (Updated: just checked, metro says it has to be the stylus 2023 or newer. doh!) Wait, also just realized, my old stylus is a 2022 unlocked former metro phone, so maybe esim will work anyway.

I goofed up in porting my GV number online, forgot to unlock it first. When it didn't go through, I went back and unlocked it, and had to call the port out line. they just removed the hold on the number and told me to do the port myself online after four hours. We'll see if it works, or if there are even phones left in 4 hours.

Terrible website. No matter what I do on a desktop, "Sorry, but we were unable to save your changes. Please try again." Tried to order through the Metro app on a phone with Metro service, it's not working tonight for adding a line (the discount price doesn't show up in cart). Called in, they told me it can only be done on my part; cannot be done over the phone.
I had problems using the website. The Metro service rep was no help.
After some searching via Google it was recommended to try using the Firefox browser. That worked and I'm now able to add another line.
I previously used Chrome, Edge, and Brave and got the same error message, "Sorry, but we were unable to save your changes. Please try again."

DO NOT DELETE NUMBER FROM GOOGLE VOICE!If still there then port is not yet complete. Wait or call. Do not delete.
Yes someone mentioned that. I will reach out to customer service and have them confirm it's completely ported before doing anything in the app.

That or I'll wait for the email from Google as confirmation.

I am extremely frustrated with Metro by T-Mobile's service. I currently had my line with TracFone, with six months of validity remaining. The offer seemed very lucrative, which is why I initiated the porting process. However, the order failed multiple times.
Meanwhile, TracFone deleted my number almost instantly. They mentioned that it was an automatic process and now they do not have any details of my line. Metro's team says they cannot complete the order because the line is now inactive.
I have tried contacting chat support, the porting department, and the sales department. I waited for hours, but nothing worked. At this point, my number is no longer with me, and the order has failed.
I attempted the process with multiple cards and different address, but the result was the same. This has wasted my time and caused me to lose my active number.
Does anyone have any idea how this can be resolved or escalated to fix the issue?
