Ok your account number is just your GV phone number and your pin is your "call to listen" pin that you set up in the settings of GV. You first have to pay $3 to unlock the GV number.

Porting and failed attempts to order the phone. FYI if you go through the last step and Metro reserved the number you are porting in. But you failed, their payment screen and your order did not go through. Be advised that that number(s) that you attempted to port (no atter how many different phone numbers) are locked in Metro Port Reservation. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO USE THAT NUMBER to process new order using that same # until you call Metro and ask to be transferred over to the porting department and ask them to delete the port. You will also not be able to port it anywhere else until they delete the port reservation. So, all you folks that tried to process a zillion orders after your initial order failed it will never work (even if you fix why your payment didn't go through) until YOU CALL METRO to fix your PORT. With all that said the port dept will want to verify you and the easiest way is for them to send you a SMS to your metro phone so your you don't have a Metro phone working well welcome to the struggle bus have a seat and relax your gong to be on the phone with Metro for some time. Please know this address multiple attempts at porting the same phone number not all the other reasons orders fail on the payment screen. All I can say on that one is , Don't use VPN, don't use discover, don't use a virtual number, wait 48 not 24 hours for your last order attempt to clear out of their system and if you are a religious person…pray

The short version, you must call Metro to make sure any/all the number(s) you are porting over that previously succeed Port Reservation but failed Payment are not locked now to metro reservation once locked to metro they will not work with a new order or another wireless company. This deal is killing me softly, now I remember why I avoided Metro for so long

For those of you having the fraud screen, do this -

Use a VPN
Different credit card #
Add a fake apartment # to your address (if you live in a house)

This has worked for me in the past.

Did you buy your Moto Stylus and iPhone in Feb 2025 or Feb 2026?

Thanks for the information. Did you receive the phone and complete the port? From what I've read, the number barn numbers are considered wireline numbers, not mobile numbers. Based on some of the comments, you may have to call metro and tell them you are porting a landline.
GV numbers are considered landline numbers too. I think his port-in ok. What i dont like is the Numberbarn forces to keep my CC online.

Autopay is off by default. Just don't pay for 2nd month. Don't need to cancell manually. BTW, how were you able to order a tablet and watch (after the 1st phone) without being able to log into your account?
Called the customer service

It got even worse after that.

-Spent 30+ minutes on chat
-Chat tells me to call Port department to cancel pending port-in
-Port department somehow doesn't know how to cancel port
-I get transferred to the noisiest call center ever
-After 45 minutes, they tell me to call Port department

This is way worse than AI. I'm done
Call directly to their portability team on 1-800-518-7519 and tell them to remove port-in hold from your number. They will ask for the phone number and PIN you selected during order placement.

Tried to get the watch/tablet but did not work. Error at checkout, called to do it trough phone, but nope, agent couldn't do it even tried 3 cards, sent me to store. Tried various credit and debit cards. Borrowed brothers card with different address, still error. Tried today and still get error. Giving up now. Probably buy a refurb older model on ebay.
How are they flagging an order for security with a different card and address? As you said you borrowed your brother's address and credit card.
How did Metro then flag the order? That doesn't make any sense. The block was apparently at a shipping address and/or credit card.
How is it not working when you changed both of those?

Do you guys mean to call Metro porting dept to cancel or remove port-in hold of your number even if the order did NOT go thru?

Yes, that is how it worked for me. I had never even heard of number barn before this, read someone else in this thread used Numberbarn, so I decided to give it a try. Phone numbers vary in price, with premium numbers costing more, but there were a ton of them for $5....I purchased it, waited about an hour than successfully purchased this iphone while porting out the numberbarn number.
I don't know what kind of magic fairy dust you used, but consider yourself lucky. I've spent $3 on GV and $5 on NumberBarn and neither one of those mother effing things will work. Always get sent to the "call us" error message and then the useless phone support people.

I am giving up on getting any phone with porting promotion from Metro. Although I think Tablet and Samsung Watch still work.
Very frustrated with how the system flagged your address and credit card with limit ... and very messed up porting process for those who are eligible to port but the order did not go through and end up losing their number especially those porting over from Tracfone and Total Wireless...

Can you help to analyze and solve my issue of orders?
- Initially i got error at checkout with order of the 1st line couple time, but I got thru at a different day.
- I have ip13, port-in from ST 5 days ago.
- Tried to add the watch7 couple times in the last 2 days online and phone call with my different CC: Flagged/ Error at the checkout
- Today I tried to add a 2nd line, ip16e with port-in from GV: Flagged/ Error at the checkout
- And tried to "New Customer": Error.... always
"The block was apparently at a shipping address and/or credit card."? The shipping address and the billing address are the same (I live at this address for almost 40 years). The CC is using everyday (Amz, Paypal..) Am I blocked/banned/flagged? Help! TIA.

I think the block might be at the account/number level. The Stylus came with a number, no porting required. The iPhone did require porting, used GVoice. The phone tech could not add the watch or tablet, so it might be beyond them. Tried on both accounts and all gave the same error. I am guessing it was the Razr I purchased in November that counted towards the limit or put me in a "don't sell to this broke guy no more 😂". Either way I got to replace my aging iPhone xs 🫡.
I also ordered those unlocking sim chips (MKSD/ Well Sim) from aliexpress to test out. It might not work on the iphone, but might work on the stylus.

Looks like they are tracking IP address, else, how can they still ban you when you tried to use different cards and different addresses?
