If you have port in difficulties with GV number call 800-518-7519 and them you have a land line and they will complete your port.
GV port is not complete until you get a confirmation email from google, and you get a text message from Metro 611 that the number transfer is complete.

The short version, you must call Metro to make sure any/all the number(s) you are porting over that previously succeed Port Reservation but failed Payment are not locked now to metro reservation once locked to metro they will not work with a new order or another wireless company. This deal is killing me softly, now I remember why I avoided Metro for so long
EDIT: after reading the comments on this thread, I see that many people are reporting that a google voice number can be ported over to metro again (like the good old days).

So have you guys been able to successfully port a gvoice number without uploading ID/verifying/where all you did was pay the $3 unlock fee
I don't know why it asks for a plan change.
I called Metro, and the tech asked a bunch of questions, and I did end up telling her the phone I'm moving it to already has a physical sim, I want to use the esim slot. And she was like, you can't do that. You can't have two lines on one phone. She puts me on hold to ask a supervisor, but I'm pretty sure she didn't explain it well, based on what she said when she came back. I finally convinced her yes, this pixel 10a I have can have two seperate lines, I want to use the esim for the number currently on teh iphone. And she's all "what will you do with the iphone." I have no idea why she was asking that kind of thing, so I said I'm giving it to my sister.
Anyway, we tried and tried and could not get it to work. I tried 3 different web browsers and an incognito browser. farking nothing. I guess I need to go into a store and ask them to move this to a physical sim, and I can move it to an old, unlocked metro phone I have. The lady was even messed up about that, when she told me to go to a store and I asked if could do that, she was really hung up on well, if it's unlocked it's not really metro phone anymore, so it might not work. What? wtf? I'll have to ask separately so people can see, but I need to figure out if this will be a big problem to move this plan to an unlocked metro phone so I can trade the damn iphone in. And what it might cost to do this, buying a physical sim, etc.
How hard will it be to have someone at a metro store transfer the info on this iphone over to a physical sim on an old, unlocked metro phone I have? I don't currently have a metro sim. I'm guessing I pay about $10 for a sim? The tech I spoke with on the phone said I shouldn't have to pay other fees since I tried to move this to an esim on my new pixel and failed, and the tech on the phone couldn't get it to work either.
So is that true, is it likely to just cost about $10 for a sim and be an easy transfer at a store?
I know I lose account access at that moment. It's not set to autopay, I know it means I can't get other existing customer deals if I end up having to do this. Are there any other concerns of losing account access before the 30 days is up?
