this is great for streaming and comment creation, as your phones camera will be better than any webcam

I picked this up. The smallrig quality has been pretty decent for a dadtographer over the years. This is as expected.

I am going to buy a 1/4-20 MagSafe disc to add to the end. The clamp is sturdy and grabs the phone good. I just want to be able to quickly change from portrait to landscape.

The knobs are what I expect will fail first, they seem like a polycarbonate or light potted metal, but I can hear it when I tighten them that they might give up one day.

I'm hoping I'm wrong and to be sure I am, I won't put the beans to them when I tighten it up. Just give it enough to do the job.

But all the joints with tightening nuts seems this may not be good if you need to move it around a lot?

Most Smallrig stuff is like Manfrotto, meaning all the knobs will be metal or plastic-covered metal.

Flexible version with a magsafe end would be ideal for most casual home users
