Price history shows this used to cost $60. It's now double the price. Are these bots posting and upvoting this?

Yes, NVME drives used to be substantially less expensive; however, the shortage has been driving up prices to absurd levels. While $115 isn't "slick" overall, it's comparatively better than the $150 that similar 1TB NVME drives are starting to reach.

You'll need a time machine to ever see those prices again.

No, prices have gone up due to tariffs, economic turmoil and demand from AI datacenters

Yes. The solution is to stop buying this overpriced garbage and stop using AI and products with AI.
People will pretend like that's a ridiculous ask but then they'll go and pay $200 for 1TB and complain all day about it.
We have these prices because people choose to get ripped off.

Unless you just came out of a coma 2025 prices are not 2026 prices for RAM, storage, or GPUs.

remember Crucial is exiting the consumer space. They claim they'll stick around to honor warranties, I don't see how if they aren't making replacements going forward.
