It's a better deal if you don't need the battery. Do the hack and it's only $122.53.

I recently purchased this tool a couple of weeks ago with the 6.0 battery, along with the Milwaukee M18 Fuel circular saw that came with the RedLithium XC 5.0 battery. These are currently my only M18 Fuel tools, and I only have these two M18 batteries.
I'm not a heavy user by any means. I mainly use them for DIY projects around the house and occasional furniture refinishing.
My question is: Is the XC 5.0 battery sufficient for my needs, and should I return the 6.0 battery? Or would it make sense to keep both?

It depends on how long your usage is. You can get a few hours of intermittent sanding.

Personally, I don't like using anything higher than a 5.0 battery, just due the the size and weight it adds. The heavier the battery gets, the more strain it's on you to keep it leveled, as it likes to tip back otherwise (causing uneven sanding)

So, to answer your question, yes the 5.0 is sufficient. Having a second battery is always a good idea, for obvious reasons. If I could have two batteries for this sander, it would be a 3.0 and the 5.0.

Also think it's worth keeping the 6.0 for your circular saw.

I got this thing for same price when they included charger & battery. So, looks like they took away the charger from this deal folks.

Thank you very much, I appreciate the response! I'm going to keep the 5.0 and 6.0 and might pick up a 3.0 as well for the sander for "light" jobs.
