Great deal for someone who needs a phone, uses it with common sense, and doesn't let a cellphone control every aspect of their lives. In other words, if you can't breathe or function without a cellphone in your hand, this isn't for you.

Wanting a low $ burner phone to create some social media accounts (act verification with phone) and use for a new Google voice phone no. Want a new Google Voice Number for future SD prepaid phone deals (upgraded phones). Sort of rusty on all the "Ins & Outs".

1/ Used QVC before. Can I just change name spelling, dift CC, & email to get QVC order to go thru?

Good luck getting a GV number with any number from the TF pool, they turn over so frequently that most of them seem to have been claimed already. Interested to hear about others' experience with this

Why is it preferable if a Google voice number is better from a TracFone pool, and since when can you choose what carrier pool your number comes from? Thanks, I'm just trying to get an understanding of what you mean here

Maybe it doesn't, especially now that GV has been around a long time. I have just set up dozens of Tracfones and run into this. Would be interested to know more about carrier number pools (shared with Verizon or nah?), whether prepaid turns over significantly faster, whether changing your TF number will allow you to eventually hit on one that's valid for GV, etc.

Oh, you touched on a piece of information that I didn't know, you're saying that not all TracFone numbers are eligible to allow the user to get a new Google voice number?

I just added a "." in my gmail addy that I'd used before and it let me create a new account with it on my order last week using this coupon. Same shipping address and name I've used before, pretty sure I've used that same credit card there before. But if I ran into your problem, I'd try a different credit card as well, maybe a different name on the account.
