Pro Tip: These resellers on Amazon live and die by their reviews and star ratings because they affect how much they have to pay Amazon to be listed on their site. Therefore, you can "weaponize" your review to get additional discounts if you are careful, write a clear and complete review and are willing to compromise. I ended up getting mine completely for free in the end. 😁
Can camera this camera be plug this into a usb c charger or power adapter instead of using the solar? Or plug it into a powers source instead? I have a power source near.

You obviously lose the ability to to receive push notifications and remote connection while away, and firmware updates.
Maybe in warmer climate with lots of sun it would be ok. I do not own this, but maybe the guys can talk about how much sun shines on camera (solar power) for how many hours a day.
So, each solar panel and cam is about 35 dollars. Features are lacking, ... I have no personal use of these, so I'll rely on others to comment.
Let's not pretend like all the tech companies + US government already spies on everything we do. I'd worry about what they're doing instead of what China is doing, bc China doesn't care about regular people. They're interested in State secrets, not what your pets are chewing on.
