It seems to me that Samsung Dirct has the best deal if you don't want to be locked into higher carrier rates for 24-36 months. especially taking in an S22 Ultra for 500$

How is for S26U:
Amazon = $1100+tax the best deal?

(24 x $16.67) $400 + $480 (14 months. Of $20) + $10 for 1GB data for activation = $850+tax and includes 24 months of one free line of service without data .
Am I missing something? $259 cheaper and 2 years of free phone line only service on top . Just have to be super careful not to turn on data. And need to use a other phone for first 120 days and possibly tether to this one (I did exactly that 3 years ago wth fi).
