I checked around, normal price is around $14 everywhere else (HD, lowes, walmart etc) with lowest price history on Amazon at $9.50, so this indeed is the lowest price anywhere.

Good deal, im in for one as the 3" wheels are hard to find (standard grit wheels cheap at harbor Freight but thats ALL they have just grit), thanks!

I just got one of these cutoff tools and I'm using this same blade that came with it—is there just a do-it-all blade that's probably overkill for most things but will work well on just about anything? I don't want to deal with thinking about it unless I really have to. I'm sure a toothed/saw blade is better for wood, but I feel like most things could just be done with 1 overkill blade.

Also I'm pretty sure Amazon's own price history is just another vector to sell services to vendors so they can put in their own historical prices & lie. Inflation does things to people, man. (´ー`)

Go to Menards or Harbor Freight, they sell a VERY cheap (like $1 a blade) 3" (IT HAS TO BE three inches!!!, annoying I know, makes it harder to find blades) all-purpose grit discs / cutoff wheels. I've used these to cut metal plastic, itll cut whatever (not always the best choice for cutting but its a grunt that digs through whatever material). Actually 4 for $2 now at HF: https://www.harborfreight.com/pac...66393.html

As for amazon price history, I would NEVER trust their little "rufus AI" or whatever, I install a chrome extension called "KEEPA" which tracks the prices itself and isnt amazon affiliated so it gives you real price data for years back, I HIGHLY recommend everyone get the KEEPA app/extension (its similar to CamelCamelCamel I believe). VERY handy browser add-on tool.
