As far as I can tell it's just a marketing buzz word to appeal to losers...
Tactical button switches on the tail and having bezels to beat someone down with also having a very bright strobe effect is good. Sofirn is a much better brand for a good tactical flashlight, these guys make a decent light but your money would be better spent elsewhere.

I own both and can't really tell much of a difference in the quality dept. I can tell you these guys have good customer service but never had to deal with Sofrin as none of my lights have had any issues.

Same for me. I have both, along with several other top brands. My Wurkkos torches are very well made and have been quite reliable.
