FYI you can't set this to a specific temperature. It only has presets within temperature ranges.

For those trying to avoid chemicals on their food, even though this is a glass air fryer, the pan you place in the bottom to help with airflow under the food for crispness has some sort of non-stick coating on it. FYI if you care.

Returned this, disappointed. It's just a worse air fryer than the standard design one with a slide out basket or whatever. The gimmicks aren't worth soggy fries.

This product is so popular and I can not think of one scenario when I thought to myself, "damn I wish I had a portable air fryer." I just don't get how this is better than a standalone one. It's an appliance, by default it's "portable".

It has very good marketing behind it and a popular name attached..buts it's a gimmick to me.
The only scenario I can see myself using this at would be at work in my office. As soon as everyone sees that you have portable air fryer they're going to want to use it if you brought it into the breakroom... And it'll possibly get broken! if i use it in my office only then it's going to stink it up...who wants a smelly office!? So it would be brought back home!
it's just not that serious for me to get this. Plus it's $125.. I'll just use the break room microwave!

Honestly, if you're looking for a microwave alternative, especially for work "sharing", grab a $30 toaster oven. Even the cheap ones do a great job of heating up stuff evenly, IMO.

Sure, you could get a $200 one, but if it's in a shared space and you don't want to worry about it breaking - a cheap one works well enough.

Of course, if you REALLY don't want to worry about the costs, grab one from Salvation Army/Goodwill/Garage Sale for like $15.

I would bring it to work, but only leave the top. glass containers go home. then it's just a small paper weight compared to the 3 full size ones you have to clean out in my break room. I'd just use the glass as left over storage to prep it at home, not cook and reheat in the same dish.

I think one of the main features is glass with ceramic coated tray so no PFAS chemicals like teflon / PTFE

There is no return window for this type of product at Costco. They will do a price adjustment within 30-days only. You can request adjustments for online purchases via the website and for in-store purchases at the warehouse membership desk. Your only option would be to return and re-purchase at the lower price. I am not advising or promoting people to do this btw...

Tempted to grab this as I am grossed out by the Gourmia with cleaning as well as the teflon peeling at some point. Does anyone have this and like it? Looking for feedback. I can get over the temperature thing as I feel like the temps don't really make a big difference either way.

Couldn't he also buy at the new price and then return the new one he bought at the old price?

What's the difference?

It's still circumventing the price adjustment policy and clearly acting against the spirit of their generous return policy.

No, the store will refund the most recent purchase price. Again though....I am not advocating or suggesting people abuse return policies. That is what leads to higher prices. Manufacturers either have to take back their returns, or they give retailers a discount in lieu of returns. In either scenario, when the return rate exceeds the typical amount in that category, the retailer or manufacturer must adjust their price accordingly, which ends up costing the consumer more money.
