T-Mobile 30 day eSIM Trial on T-Life App you can port it out for free. I got 4 phones to use on trials from Straight Talk/Total Wireless deals unlocked in last 3 years.

After get Free Trial Number create a T-Mobile ID: Use the T-Mobile website to link your trial number to a email/profile.

Locate Account Info: Your account number in the "Account Summary" section of the online portal. Generate a Port PIN: Under Settings in Profile

For Chrome, open incognito page, chose I need a new number, chose $55 plan, enter your zip, hit get new number, hoover your mouse to the top right area near the X then message for coupon will pop up, works for me every time. These $25 off coupon works for only new customer, won't work for existing customer option. I can give you a code if you can't generate one.

Any advise on how to get a port out number? Tried both Helium and T-Mobil but they both didn't work. Any others that do work?

For 16e, Gamestop is paying $215 (Pro membership needed). Worth a shot for easy exit.

So it's $150 for non pro and $215 for pro membership at Gamestop?
Will try the Apple store first though.

I want to let you guys know about my experience at a Cricket store earlier today. First a quick background––I ordered 2 iPhone 16e's on March 12th & paid $210. The two Tello lines I bought took the longest time to get the port-in VIN & acct#. While I was waiting for the info, I contacted Cricket & a friendly CS rep told me they'd hold the order until I got the port info. Well, after 3 days, Cricket ended up cancelling my order (I didn't place any other orders, just for those 2). I finally got the port info from Tello a week later, so I contacted Cricket twice to let them know this & see if they'd reinstate my order & honor the plan I paid for since I was told they would, but they each said I'd have to purchase the phones under the new 3 month deal.

Today I went into a local store & talked to the manager. He was glad to do 2 phones for one month service each on $60 plan & he quoted me $152 (wouldn't wave activation fees. He said he'd get in trouble with management). Anyway, since it was less than the $210 I was stoked & said I'd go ahead with it. I gave him the Tello numbers, acct# and PINs & everything transferred just fine. When he got to the last page, he said that the computer wouldn't allow him to apply the promotion to the phones. I told him that I had placed an order online & even told him it was for two months & got cancelled. I thought maybe that was why. But no, he said it was on Apple's end. He & another employee tried to figure it out & he was even texting his boss, but nothing they did worked. They said the promotion wouldn't apply. Since the only order I placed online got cancelled, I don't get it. I ended up leaving with no phones. He was eager to sell me the phones, but said there was nothing he could do. He asked if I'd gotten any Apple promotions before & I did not. If anyone has any idea what happened I'd really appreciate it!

It could be the Tello numbers. It seems cricket is cracking down on what providers numbers can port in from. I tried with Helium and had the same issue - it took the store manager to come in and get it through - not sure what they did, could be some override or something. I have no idea. This was after reports of helium numbers being denied.

Oh ok, thank you. I bet you're right. Maybe I'll call tomorrow & see if he'd be able to do an override. I'm wondering, with the Helium numbers, how long did you have to wait to get the port info? I only did Tello because I thought I'd get the port info quickly. Did you buy two phones as well? He told me that was the limit, but I could add more lines later if I wanted.

So you lose those numbers they ported when something like that happens?

Can you please advise when your Helium number was denied? Was it recently in the last few days? Thanks.

Did you do a port-in or get a new line altogether? Curious if this is also affecting things.
Yes, I did port in for all 4 phones.

I'm not sure, actually. He sent an email to corporate about it with my personal info. I'll report back when I find out.

First of all, I feel sorry for everything you've gone through so far. For me bought 1st phone for $120, 2nd 3rd lines for $50 using sister address with her credit card. Used 2 Straight Talk port-in #'s(from last ST deal, phones and tablet) and 1 Lyca paid $5.25. Yesterday went 2 stores, one store offered $175 for 2, other store offered $229 for 3 over the phone. Asked some discounts with cash and offered $179, so I went to that store to get 3 and final price was $149. Cheaper than online order. This time used ST, Lyca and Metro port-in #'s. Everything went smoothly.
