I ported 2 of them on my unlocked Straight Talk phones i got from previous years just put random information and address to sign up for trial.
I recently also traded my S25+ at Spectrum store for S26 Ultra after adding about ~ $455 cash, and I'm testing this as well. One reason for not thinking of getting 17 Pro Max is because of this S26 Ultra. I don't want 2 giant phones (FYI - I use two phone simultaneously, one for work and one personal, both from my own pocket).
Always been an advanced android and Windows tech user, and using IOS feels really lacking - in terms of customizations, gesture navigation and keyboards. Camera and photos in low light indoors look much better than S26 Ultra and Pixel 9 Pro XL, but still my user experience feels downgraded due to lacking features that are important to me. IOS has its own strong points and features, but I'm not in apple ecosystem, except for a fairly recent switch to Macbook Air M4 (thanks to last years' phone trades) and now my first iphone in use. I can probably get used to Apple ecosystem, but unless apple brings over those windows and android features, it seems I may soon get back to Windows and Android.
Tried doing it the apple way, but it keeps failing at the very last step, saying it can't be transferred. Maybe I have too many esims stashed away on this SE3? Think I have like 5-6... and counterproductive to start deleting them. But read that it can hold up to 8.
Both phones on same acct, both updated, both have bluetooth on... am I missing something?

same when I tried on Moto Stylus unlocked. It supports esim, but with Cricket only physical sim was the option. Worked on Pixel 9 pro xl esm transfer. As for iphones, I believe both iphones need to be unlocked for the transfer to work, if either one is locked, it won't work.
It gets to the last stage, then conks out, saying the number can't be transferred.
