The 43" version of this last year went on sale and was never back in stock. Possibly last chance to buy?

Just one for when you power it on and off. It's direct lit. If this was a mini-LED TV it would probably be an instant buy from a lot of people. I think their target demographic is people looking for a large high refresh rate monitor to game on. Not saying people don't want a quality picture to go along with it, just that I think they want it for the high refresh rate.

Got it for a PS5 and it's been great. Lot better than my old 2012 Toshiba 1080p TV. Settings are Abit clunky but does do 120fps.

I got the 43" last year. It has been a great TV/monitor for PC and PS5 gaming. The 144hz refresh rate makes a big difference. If you are in need of a 50" you will not be disappointed.

Good luck with your Xbox Ally X at 4K 144Hz...! LOL

Now, if you add an eGPU, then you might have yourself a portable gaming device plus a desktop gaming PC next to your TV. I have an OG ROG Ally Z1 Extreme 2023 and my makeshift XG Mobile Lite board sporting an RTX 5060 Ti 16GB eGPU and it runs anything I throw at at 1440p ultrawide no issues.

I got the 55 inch version of this TV for my mom in law here in Miami. Let's see how it goes. It arrives today. I'll let you guys know how good or how bad it is.

Edit: Just received the TV from FedEx. The tape had already been opened and resealed. Inside the box everything seemed to be pristine. The TV was giving me a hard time connecting to my Google account. No matter what I selected it would not connect to my account. Tried my mom in law's Google account and after about 3 attempts it finally accepted the account. When it asks for disconnecting from the Wi-Fi, just say NO. It takes several minutes to get stuff completed. The controller kept disconnecting from the TV, even though the light on the remote still flashed. This is not a very good first impression.

FWIW, these are made by Skyworth Group Limited, a Chinese company. No idea about the quality of this TV, but the Philips name is licensed by Skyworth.

Good find. Skyworth TVs are pretty popular in China
