In 2023 both my Dad and I bought them Oct of 2023. Mine lasted a year, got a line through the screen then a week later crapped out. Moto replaced it. Dad's had a similar issue a few months later and moto still covered it (their records showed more warranty than he had). He carried it for another year and it went stone dead all of a sudden (no lights, no charging).
I've had the 2025 since June and so far it's been good. Way cheaper than the Samsung side of things and does about the same thing.
To those concerned about security patches, I'd like to ask if you keep your phone past 2 years?
as well as the new moto RAZR FOLD with the same chip as s26 and fold 7 lightning fast !
i'll likely get a new flip phone after security updates stop next year, it'll be interesting to see if Samsung's new 'no crease' screen solves the inner screen protector durability problem

It's too bad because the specs for the 2024 and this 2025 is exactly identical but it was $180 cheaper.
