Is this going to be one of those deals where HP cancels thousand of orders, doesn't refund the money or takes months to do so, and then there's hundreds of people here complaining?

Rcv'd mine today.. It has a beautiful screen. Only problem; it is kind of heavy for a laptop as previous LG Gram user but for the price; I cant Complain

I see what you are saying but sales price is showing $720 . I didn't even check the MSRP at all until you mention it. As others say; it really does not look like a $1,400 laptop at all.

At first I thought it was a great deal and almost purchased, I'm glad the deal is out of stock as I don't have to keep thinking about it hehe. Ultimately the weight and comments about the keyboard put me off from it.

I came across this deal elsewhere and purchased an hour before it hit SD. I'll probably be a good indicator of whether any of these get shipped. Current status: Processing.
