Off-brand android devices are how you inadvertently join a botnet. Many of these devices come pre-infected from the factory.

People suck at remaining attentive on the road as it is, the last thing we need is these people having an 11 inch screen sticking up above their dash that is capable of playing Netflix.

I understand the desire for AA/CarPlay on an older car that doesn't have it from the factory, but this is absolutely not the way to achieve it. This looks straight up dangerous.

I would argue the opposite. Most older vehicles have their stereos too low on the center console. Retrofitting a stereo to an older vehicle would mean placing it in a location that requires diverting eyesight from the road to an area generally far too low to maintain vision on the road. Ask me how I know.
