I'm in, purchased.

Just to be sure everyone understands - People/Pets/Plants MUST BE VACATED from the space when this is in use. The ozone it produces displaces oxygen and can possibly KILL many living things.

This thing is a monster just fair warning. I don't mean that in a bad way. I'm just used to ozone machines that make it gently. This thing makes so much in a small amount of time, just make sure your no where near this thing when it's running. And properly air out when you're done. Close your nose when you walk into the room to turn it off and walk away to let it air out. Or better yet, extension cord and surge protector switch or connect it to a WiFi smart plug to remotely turn it on.

Normal UV bulbs that individuals can buy aren't nearly strong enough to generate any form of ozone in any measurable quantity. As for UV sterilization, same thing... Requires a high output and a fairly long exposure. A lot of air purifiers with "UV" sanitization are kinda of BS. The UV is to "sanitize" the filer, not the air. Just like everything the EPA does, this is only part of the truth and highly exaggerating the actual science and health effects. The EPA tends to go to the extreme end of the conservative spectrum when it comes to "heath" risks. Also it isn't a "toxic gas" anymore than normal oxygen O2 is a "toxic gas" (and yes O2 is a known pro-carcinogen). It is even worse when an AI justifies it without taking into account any of the scientific data that directly conflicts with the EPAs statements

Oh ok well if you say so I am not going to worry about breathing ozone anymore! I will disregard everything the scientists and medical professionals say since you said ozone was ok to breathe.................................................. Thanks for your input..............

Kinda pricy but I did a quick look and found one...if you search for "Manfh ozone", you'll find one. But keep looking and you'll find one for cheaper (maybe).

Bought one a couple of weeks ago and just got a letter from them trying to give me a gift card for doing a review. The device works to clear out odors, but the seller is sure one of those pushing boundaries types on amazon with their games.

I have some mold problems in my attic… can I run it up there and remain in the main portion of the house below the attic (with the attic ladder shut)?
