I mean, unless you have a time machine, I think it's still a good deal now.

I say BS, the last FP deal for this type was $2.99, this works out less per bottle after the $5 credit.

Assuming you are comparing the SAME EXACT item and there was a one time clip Q for ONE bottle. if two people in a household are using the bottle, it likely lasts 4-6 weeks. So buying ONE in September would run out by November if not sooner. Then what?

This is $2.495 per bottle after the $5 savings and you get 4 bottles at once. Not sure waiting 3-5 months for a possible $2.39 price on one makes that much sense. at most you're saving another 40-45c on FOUR. But may run out before the next sale and then you get raked over the coals paying $1-2 more for a bottle.

Yes same exact item, but cool man yea if you need them in bulk then go for it. The price difference is truly negligible, I was just making a point that they routinely go on sale. Thanks

Sometimes it's better to just relax and live. My wife picked up a box of 100 paperclips yesterday for $2, I just shrugged and went on with my day instead of trying to secure a better price per clip.

I also just paid full price for this mouthwash the other day because I needed it. Haven't thought twice about those hot coals I got raked over.

Not addressing whether this is a deal or NOT a deal. I bought this recently because I started drinking bottled water and stopped drinking local tap water due to local water quality concerns. Local tap water has fluoride & bottled water does not. I have experienced many cavities and gum problems since I switched from local tap to bottled water.
I
I did some research before I bought the ACT fluoride mouthwash because it was the only mouthwash on the market that included fluoride at .02%.
I
Most nonprescription toothpaste contains .454% fluoride (eg. Crest ProHealth)
I
Prescription Toothpaste (highest Fluoride Content) contains 1.1% fluoride which my Dentist recommended for me. It costs $20 a tube from the Dentist. My dentist says I need high fluoride toothpaste to fix my cavities and gum problems. And, since I have been using additional fluoride, my cavities and gum problems have stopped!
I
Fortunately, I found some Dental Supply e-bay sellers that sell the same RX high fluoride toothpaste for about $7 a tube. Sorry Dentist!
I
After buying this ACT toothpaste, I probably won't buy any more since the fluoride content is so low and I can get it cheaper thru toothpastes from Ebay sellers.
I
Forgot to mention, I sometimes buy & use Amazon Basics Anticavity Fluoride Rinse 18 ounce (Pack of 4) for $10. It contains .05% fluoride.
I
Regarding mouthwash, I just buy cheap Target brand alcohol based cheap mouthwash. Works!

Just FYI the fluoride content in most mouthwashes that contain it is 100+ times the fluoride in treated tap water. I floss, then mouthwash, then brush because it makes the most sense to me. Might be even better if you do mouthwash ~30 minutes or so after eating lunch once a day too.

If you need a prescription grade product from dentist it's likely because the decay is pretty bad. Regular fluoride toothpaste, even the cheapest AIM toothpaste for $1 has enough fluoride for relatively healthy teeth.
