I already made use of it today.
Worked surprisingly well.
My doors are the modern hollow doors and the wood shaved off very evenly and easily.
Lots of fine dust will form, so be aware.
I really would love to own a planer, but a quick sub $10 solution to fix 1 door? Heck yeah!

Had custom fit doors installed.
Aholes skipped some screws.
And naturally Fire doors(heaviest) they used only the little screws.
5 of the 29 doors had issues(after 1 year).
went around tightening and/or replacing screws with appropriately sized and secured.
No trimming required.
Ditto on a renovation house built 1991
3 of the 10 needed to be tweeked.
