I bought a similar headlight and I really like it. however, there is one major flaw. it gets dimmer the longer you wear it. is that something that goes on with all these "cob"/flexible headlights?

that sounds more like a battery issue. these are fairly small so they can't fit a large battery like 18650

I have one that takes an 18650 battery. As soon as I got it I replaced the included 18650 with a quality cell. The light still gets dimmer the longer its on, but even just cycling through the brightness levels brings it back to full strength. I think it just too aggressively ramps the brightness down for thermals.
