These things are pretty horrible when used with a phone. Get a dedicated one for around $50 and even if you use it once a year, its money well spent. I use one probably once every few months to inspect things, mostly engine related work but also other things, and after trying one of these phone related ones, the dedicated camera is the way to go.

I ordered one, but part of the problem I've had is that they are too flexible....pushing them through things is tough, but then again, that's the whole purpose, that they're flexible Smilie

I want to snake it under my deck, but the ones I have currently won't work for that...I need to figure a way to make it more rigid so it doesn't get stopped on a clump of dirt

Please share the $50 unit you're referring to?

You only tell us that they're bad, but not what's bad about them. Please give us more details.

The cable is a...cable, too flexible, you cannot shape it to a "L" or anything, not very useful
