It's a bit small but for most transmission drain and fill this would probably work. It's really difficult to actually get more than 5QT to drain out. Handy to have the measurements right on it to know what to pour back in.
I got the Rubbermaid version last year for $12 but was 8qt. I did Hyundai and Chevy trans with ease.
No idea why cost for the matching lid cost so much.
The 8qt used to go on sale one a year for under $8 but not in a long time. I always missed those deals so paid more for the Rubbermaid.

And they make a specific lid for those with a corner hole in the lid to put certain immersion circulators (like Anova) through.
I've thought about it getting a lid, but being frugal, I just use aluminum foil on top and tear out a small square about where my Anova is. Helps keep heat in and it's practically free.
These are great and that's a nice price, but they're not Cambro. I asked if these were compatible with Cambro lids: "Based on customer reviews for the Winco Square Storage Container, there's important information about lid compatibility: customers report that Cambro lids (specifically the SFC12453 model) do not fit properly. One reviewer mentioned the matching Cambro lid "does not yield a snap/lock in place," which means moisture can get in."
So you can't mix and match lids according to reviewers. The Winco lid that does fit these containers are $7.58 each which kind of ruins the deal. I always need lids. https://www.amazon.com/Winco-Squa...ome-garden

The dealbreaker for me is that it's not dishwasher safe, per the description. (Though the description also says the container's lid type is flip top.)
