See the thread from a few days ago https://slickdeals.net/f/19335684-typhur-sync-gold-lite-wireless-meat-thermometer-25-free-s-h
I probably own 7 or 8 different brands of wireless thermometers and I was happy with the recent Thermaven G2 and someone said the one posted here is from a sister company with a more premium line so I figure I will give it a try.

I just bought the quad for $70. As long as you're using it for very slow cooking, i think it will be fine. It takes quite a while for the temperature to update, 5-10 seconds I found during my testing.

Hmm, up to 5-10 seconds to update is not good. The meat can easily over cook with high temperature. I guess I have to test it with another set and see the difference.

Is this worth it if I already have the dual probe thermomaven??
Does anyone know if the screen stays on or has auto shut off (that can be dsabled)?

I bought the 4 stick in case other people come over and/or cooking multiple types of food.
