Oh wow I only had the pruning saw kits at my local store and it wasn't $50. Love Ollies for deeply discounted Hart stuff. Between and them and Direct Tools (when they used to sell Hart stuff) my garage is full of tools. Very reliable for a weekend DIYer

Walmart clearance on Hart has been very nice in the past for me. These prices are not as low unfortunately.

Yes you're right. A couple years ago I snagged a number of items for like $9-$20 over the course of a year it was nuts. I feel the crazy Walmart clearance deals have dried up though. Hart had a bit of a refresh sometime last year, and I have t found too many stellar deals outside of a bag and toolbox since then. And I check kinda frequently.

My local store had mowers as well. Picked up a dual blade brushless with 8Ah battery and 6 amp fast charger for $200. Replacing my single blade Hart.

Stopped by an ollies for the first time a few days ago, not impressed. Whole store is basically a walmart clearance aisle with markdowns worse than walmart's (that is, I see much better deals at walmart). The question is, why is walmart sending all this inventory to ollies in the first place? The only reason I browse around at walmart is to find clearance deals (and often buy non-clearance in the process) so if they cut the clearance goods they basically cut me as a customer.

TTI has discontinued the Hart line of tools, so they are going on clearance at Walmart as well. Keep looking there -- got a couple 40V 15" trimmers at $79 just for the batteries and will resell the tools.

Perhaps the Ollie's haul came direct from TTI instead of Walmart. And I agree with your impression of Ollie's. Understood there was a cult following, but on my first visit to our local store it was just a dump with all sorts of random crap at nothing special prices. The couple times since I went looking for something specific in their ad it was nowhere to be found.

Was able to pick up trimmer for $80 this afternoon, I was headed to Lowe's if it didn't pan out. It will suffice for my needs. Saw an edger there, combo kit of trimmer and leaf blower, electric saw and the mower. Funny thing about mower was all were the same mower but one said it was good for more run time and bigger lot than the other boxes.
