It's an overpriced cable for what it is, but this is the best price I've seen. In for 3 so I can place them around the house, bags, etc.

Was thinking the same thing. Kinda sucks that my mac charging with usb c throttles around 90w if I remember correctly. Think my chances are higher to buy another macbook before replacing these but just buying one in case of losing them.

It's cheap because it's fake. Woot doesn't actually stock or sell the item. It's going to be drop shipped by some Chinese manufacturer. Woot doesn't check nor do they care whether it's real or not because they get paid to post these deals. I learned all this when I bought cheap Apple chargers from Woot.

You're probably safe with this one. There's all the official color variations from Apple available and I'm not aware of any copycats across all the color choices.

There reason why Apple sells cables through woot, is because they unpack old models (iphone, macbook, etc) and sell them as refurbished, cables sold separately for max profit. Same goes for overstocked cables, I bet very few bough this one and apple has too many.
Not the first time apple cables sold on woot in bulk.

The fake chargers that I bought were also advertised as genuine Apple products. You seemed to have missed the point that the drop shippers can say anything they want on Woot ads. Woot is just acting as a third party marketplace for Chinese manufacturers. When people pointed out that they were fake, Woot claimed complete ignorance because it was up to the seller to describe the items.
