This is a really excellent fully upgraded plan with unlimited high speed data, and most regular Verizon customers should absolutely consider choosing Visible instead for potentially significant cost savings. We have successfully used our smartphone as a hotspot multiple times when our regular internet service was down. There are no extra data charges for high speed streaming, without any throttling whatsoever, while using 2 laptops and a TV. The regular cell service is good, too. Keep in mind that Visible is owned by Verizon and runs on Verizon towers preferentially, so don't choose this service if coverage isn't great in your area. And YES, the price will go back up at the end of the promotional year, but Visible will wait until very near the end of the period and then offer another promotional price at the last minute. We choked and ported to Tello so that we could port back in for the newest promo price but it was completely unnecessary. They offered us a new promo about 10 days before the expiration of the yearly service. Also be sure to look for Cash Back opportunities from applicable credit cards and shopping sites when making payment.

Yeah it charges the full price for another year at the end. I did last year when they had and shows next payment for 450

Depends if your rich & can't be bothered with spending time to shop for best price. I dont have money coming out of the wazoo, so I shop & negotiate every year.

Cell phone service is easy... ten minutes and you don't even have to speak to anyone. Wifi... that is another story, but i usually try to talk to the cancelation department and see if they can work with me... just called and Fios just gave me the new customer price.

My current service ends on 5/4, and I want to sign up on visible on 5/1, just in case there is any trouble. I was going to purchase this plan tomorrow, which gives me less than 30 days to sign up, but I just read on a previous post that if your imei shows that you can use an esim, it will sign you up immediately. Is this correct? If so, can I use an old phone to request a physical Sim, but then change to my current phone on 5/1? I can still use the physical Sim if necessary.

Just a heads up. I ported into Visible last month, so by the time this promo went live, I wasn't technically a "new" customer. So I chatted with CS about possibly getting this deal, and they generated a special code for me to use. It worked, and I was able to get this deal. Good to go for a year.

So existing customers can try your chances contacting Customer Service to try to get an exception special code generated to take advantage of this deal as well.

Hope this helps someone.

If you sign up using an eSIM, the service doesn't necessarily "force" you to start your billing cycle the second you pay, but it does make the line ready to download instantly. Once that eSIM profile is downloaded and hits the network, your month officially begins.

Tello took about 72 hours to generate account info for me for new #. Could not port out same day.

If you port into Tello, you can port out the next day no problem
