This is a really excellent fully upgraded plan with unlimited high speed data, and most regular Verizon customers should absolutely consider choosing Visible instead for potentially significant cost savings. We have successfully used our smartphone as a hotspot multiple times when our regular internet service was down. There are no extra data charges for high speed streaming, without any throttling whatsoever, while using 2 laptops and a TV. The regular cell service is good, too. Keep in mind that Visible is owned by Verizon and runs on Verizon towers preferentially, so don't choose this service if coverage isn't great in your area. And YES, the price will go back up at the end of the promotional year, but Visible will wait until very near the end of the period and then offer another promotional price at the last minute. We choked and ported to Tello so that we could port back in for the newest promo price but it was completely unnecessary. They offered us a new promo about 10 days before the expiration of the yearly service. Also be sure to look for Cash Back opportunities from applicable credit cards and shopping sites when making payment.

The global 24 days pays for this itself if you travel. It has worked seamlessly across Europe for me the last two years

Yeah it charges the full price for another year at the end. I did last year when they had and shows next payment for 450

If you need two lines will this work on both?
Yes, I just did this for both my lines, existing customer, contacted customer service and they were able to apply it to both my lines.

So if I am coming from a four line plan from total wireless, I will need to create four different accounts and sign each one up indiviudally, correct? Or can I have more than one line under one account?

Man. I almost signed up. Currently paying over $100 month. Everything sounds good until I ready hotspots are capped at 15 Mbps. I do remote work on the go sometimes and would hate to have sluggish speeds when I'm working remotely. I know 15 Mbps is doable, but if signal is spotty, I worry it will be noticeably less.
Hi network'y person here. 15mbps is nothing to laugh at unless you need more bandwidth for exchanging large files or rendering a remote desktop.

Apps like Zoom for example at full HD, sharing screen, and audio, use around 1.5mbps.

What is more important (many times) comparative to bandwidth is connection priority and latency. The connection priority (afaik) comes into two factors: your QCI level and your within QCI level priority with the carrier. Afaik with Visibile's top two plans you receive the same priority as a normal Verizon postpaid customer. This beats most of the MNVO carriers (like USMobile, Spectrum, etc).

What use is higher bandwidth if your connection is being deprioritized?

I say this as a current US Mobile customer whos tired of having my connection deprioritized and also a CEO who keeps making promises the company doesnt keep.

For the cost savings the Visible+ Pro plan looks like a good deal. When there are major outages (ie hurricane aftermath) or busy areas (theme parks/concerts) having higher QCI (and within carrier) is always a good thing.

Good feedback here.

When working remotely while using my Verizon Hotspot, I mostly don't do anything bandwidth-heavy. I connect to my virtual citrix desktop at work and maybe only need around 0.5–2 Mbps... even with Teams video calls or YouTube running through the virtual session. My main concern is whether weaker signals would make performance noticeably worse compared to my current Verizon hotspot.

I occasionally download large files outside of work, but that's pretty rare. Other times, I use my work laptop directly, where faster transfer speeds matter a bit more, but again, not often.

I'm scared of making the wrong move and then regretting it.

"So, you're basically saying that everybody that already has a subscription is getting f*cked on this one?" - Boiler Room (2000)

I always think of this quote when I see these deals. I've been using Visible for ~2 years now, but I guess they don't value my loyalty.

This or the Mint Mobile (on T Mobile) for $180 plus a free basic phone? I'm in Bothell WA and TMo network might be stronger than Verizon.

Mint mobile has terrible customer service. Tello runs off T-mobile & has decent prices & decent customer svc.

You sign up first. Then gives them your referral link, so you can get 3 referrals for discount off your bill.

Why can't visible just give loyal customers same discounts? Crazy my plan expires next month would love to take 50% advantage but if just switch to Tmobile or Verizon 4 lines promo Only if visible can give same discount to loyal customers
I think what this is is a way to get a customer to try them out. I'm sure you joined a visible either with some kind of a promotion or because it was a cheaper option. Something I have found out if you contact customer service with almost any company and act like you're unsatisfied or think something is not fair a lot of times they'll give you a discount or offer some kind of a deal to you because they know they want to keep their customers

I switched from Verizon PrePaid 5GB plan to Visible+ last year, no issues. Much better value and better performance.

Anyone using a lot of hotspot on this plan? Looks like they limit the speed. I would be all over this if I was not on the $15 Total Wireless plan (15GB hotspot limit). Think I still have a few years left on it, need to put expiration date on my calendar if I can find it.
I went without home internet a couple of months last year and hotspotted to the entire house. Usually it was 2-3 TVs streaming, 2-3 tablets/phones, and often an Xbox as well. The Xbox sometimes showed some speed issues loading online when other things were streaming but otherwise it just worked. 🤷 Oh and I had about 20 security cameras constantly uploading to the cloud as well plus a bunch of smart devices like Alexa just doing what they do

Another note, on addition to the free smart watch cellular and truly unlimited hotspot, another cool Visible feature I discovered after getting my S26U is that all Visible customers get FREE satellite text messaging. Basically if you're somewhere with no phone or data, it'll allow you to switch to satellite messaging. Anyone you msg can msg you back via satellite routing. Also you can specify who can just automatically satellite text you should you go out of service.

Pretty beat IMO.
